WILLIAM BARR (BILL)
Bill spent his childhood was on a farm near Peebles
in Southern Scotland and qualified as a vet at
at Edinburgh University in 1977. After several
years working in Airdrie and then Chorley he came
to Kirkby Stephen in 1981.
His interests outside work and family include
hillwalking, dogwalking, nature, skiing, gardening,
cycling, DIY, the stockmarket and French. He is
currently contemplating housebuilding in Brough
Sowerby.

WILLIAM LOCKHART (WILLIE)
Willie was brought up on the family farm near Lockerbie.
He qualified as a vet from Edinburgh University
in 1982 and moved to Kirkby Stephen in the same
year.
Willie's interests include football, badminton
and dog-walking.

LESLEY A. SANDERSON
Lesley grew up in the remote village of Newcastleton
and travelled each day to school in Hawick. She
graduated as a vet at Glasgow and after working
briefly in Dundee, she came to Kirkby Stephen
in October 1989.
Lesley is currently combining part-time veterinary
work with motherhood.
Lesley's passion in life is animals, especially
dogs and horses. |

SARAH JOHNSON
Sarah was born and grew up on her family's farm
near Appleby. After secondary school at Appleby
Grammar she studied Veterinary Medicine at Edinburgh
from 1999 until 2004. Sarah joined our practice
team in December 2004.
Sarah is interested in walking, reading, films
as well as socalising.
